Automatic egg deflector

optimize egg collection
Automatic egg deflector
The electrically adjustable egg guide unit is used to optimize egg collection, particularly in large conveyor systems with multiple collection points.
The product combines two key features:
- impact protection
- flexibility
ADVANTAGES
- Reduces egg breakage: prevents eggs from colliding and gently redirects the flow.
- Maximizes conveyor capacity: it can be moved sideways to utilize the full width of the conveyor belt section.
- Flexibility: automatic tilt angle adjustment and electric adjustment for easy handling.
- Optimizes large facilities: maintains transport capacity even during simultaneous harvesting across multiple sheds.
Impact protection
The electrically adjustable egg guide unit prevents the eggs from bumping into each other, just like a standard fixed, non-adjustable guide unit.
On conveyors with lateral transfer, the number of broken eggs can be reduced, since the flow of eggs coming from behind is diverted to the side at the transfer points thanks to the use of the guide unit.
The guide strip creates a slight deflection and protects against impacts.

Flexibility
The drive unit can also move electrically and automatically adjust the tilt angle.
If necessary, the guide unit can be moved sideways so as not to restrict the system’s carrying capacity.
By moving the drive unit sideways, the entire width of the conveyor and its conveying capacity are maintained.
Maximum efficiency
In large-scale transport systems, eggs are often collected simultaneously from various sheds.
Whereas fixed, non-adjustable guide units reduce and limit the conveying capacity along the conveyor line, unnecessarily diverting the incoming flow of eggs, the electrically adjustable guide unit ensures full conveying capacity all the way to the end of the conveyor line.
Automatic egg deflector
The automatic deflector makes it possible to separate eggs on the conveyor belt.
It allows, for example, through connection to a computer to be able to separate different types of eggs from one shed to another: red hen eggs from white hen eggs.
Through the deflector, the conveyor section can be reduced and thus direct the eggs to one side rather than the other.
The system features a rack that as it moves tilts the deflector bar, allowing the width of the belt available to the eggs for transfer to be adjusted.
It can also be used to prevent eggs from another belt connected laterally to the first one from colliding with the latter’s moving eggs.
